As the year winds down, I’ve been thinking a lot about the people who hold our community together in a thousand invisible ways.
Starting in January, I’m going to begin telling their stories.
Clerks who stay calm even when the line snakes out the door, the maintenance crew sweeping downtown long before sunrise, the human who runs the city sidewalk snow blower so your kids can stomp their way through to the school bus stop.
