Evergreen Home Loans on Friday announced the addition of Jon Stacy as regional manager as the company continues to expand into the Midwest.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, Stacy brings more than 28 years of mortgage industry experience to the job and his prior leadership roles include a stint as president of the Columbus Mortgage Bankers Association.

“Jon’s track record of building high-performing teams and capturing market share aligns perfectly with our growth roadmap,” Robert Lipston, Evergreen’s executive vice president and head of production, said in a statement. “His leadership will anchor our Midwest expansion as we continue executing our vision of becoming a coast-to-coast lender that puts people first.”

Stacy began his mortgage career in 1998 in Columbus and previously served at Bank of America, where he was a multiyear Pinnacle Club award recipient, top-three regional sales leader, and ranked No. 1 in customer satisfaction and talent recruitment, delivering more than $1 billion in annual sales.

Most recently, Stacy spent five years at Union Savings Bank, where he was named a top-two lender in central Ohio by Business First in 2009 and 2010.

“Evergreen’s purpose-driven culture and long-term vision align closely with my personal mission,” Stacy said. “I’m excited to help grow the Midwest region and be part of a company committed to doing the right thing for its customers, partners, and people.”

Stacy’s hiring and the company’s Midwest growth plans add to Evergreen’s recent expansions into new territories and other key personnel moves — including the recent appointment of Walter Gallipeau as its new area manager in Texas.
