Compass, Inc. has added the high-profile Nancy Dauk team to its roster in Connecticut.

Previously ranked as the top-producing team in Connecticut and the second-highest nationally at Brown Harris Stevens, the team brings decades of experience and deep local roots to Compass.

The move represents a significant expansion of Compass’s presence in Fairfield County.

Dauk, a third-generation Darien native and long-established figure in Connecticut real estate, leads the team. Her career began as co-owner of a local boutique brokerage, which later became part of Halstead and eventually Brown Harris Stevens through acquisition.

“We are excited to join the Compass platform, enabling our clients unparalleled opportunities in today’s marketplace,” Dauk said.

The team, which includes licensed agents Ashley Bartolotta, Gail Cunningham, and John Dauk, closed $53 million in sales in 2024. Their business spans a wide client base, from first-time buyers to luxury investors, and emphasizes long-term, multigenerational relationships.

Nancy Dauk said the move to Compass will help the team broaden its reach through a national network of more than 35,000 agents.

Gordon Golub, vice president of Compass Tri-State, praised the team’s addition.

“(Nancy Dauk’s) years of experience, knowledge, and connections in the community will be a huge asset, and we look forward to supporting her as she transitions into this new chapter of her career,” he said.

The Dauk Team’s move comes shortly after another high-profile shift in the Connecticut market, with Douglas Elliman’s Jennifer Leahy Team also joining Compass.
