Ryan Serhant is headed west.
His eponymous brokerage SERHANT. has entered Phoenix with the addition of a collection of brokerages that have closed more than $500 million in sales volume over the last 12 months. The move brings on more than 50 new agents, and they launched with 100 listings.
It marks SERHANT.’s first entry into the western region, with more to come.
“Expanding nationally has always been a goal for SERHANT., but it has been an organic journey, not a race to be the biggest or the fastest for the sake of being big, or fast,” Serhant said. “Our momentum in the west is just beginning, and we’re excited to grow our SerFam and open SERHANT. Arizona with such an accomplished and dynamic group of entrepreneurs.”
Todd Lee of Epique Realty has been named SERHANT. Arizona’s designated broker. Its founding agents include Mike Santistevan, Mary Jo Santistevan and Ceejay Cesiel of The Santistevan Group; Stephanie Bray of The Bray Team; Paulina Matteson of Realty ONE Group; and Lesley McGee and Dan Ward of Fine Homes Group.
SERHANT. now has a presence in nine states — New York, Florida, Connecticut, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona.
“Initially what drew me to SERHANT. was the brand itself,” Lee said in a statement. “While most claim to be innovative and different, it is evident that the organization genuinely values their team members and agents who are not only highly knowledgeable, but are redefining what a modern brokerage looks like by offering tools that allow agents to work smarter and sell more.”
SERHANT. Has been on an expansion tear since the launch of its successful Netflix show “Owning Manhattan,” which debuted in the streaming network’s top 10 most streamed shows in the U.S.
After the show dropped on June 28 of last year, internal data showed its social media reach increased 88%, listing inquiries jumped 285%, and traffic to the website rose by 1,915%.
Recent major additions include the Key Avenue Group in Charleston, South Carolina; The Adamo Group in New Jersey and The Home Squad in Orlando.
