Supreme Lending is adding a seasoned veteran to its leadership team.

The company announced Wednesday that Sarah Middleton has been hired as its Chief Growth Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, roles in which she will lead growth strategy, recruiting, marketing and brand.

Supreme Lending was drawn to Middleton’s experience in mortgage with building teams and driving visibility.

“Sarah brings the kind of energy, vision and heart that doesn’t come around often,” said Supreme Lending President and CEO Scott Everett in a statement. “She’s a doer, a builder and most importantly she leads by enriching the lives of everyone around her.”

Middleton, a 2023 HousingWire Woman of Influence, brings a wealth of experience to the job. She served as Senior Vice President at Liberty Financial Group before leaving for Guild Mortgage, where she held a number of roles over the course of five years.

She worked at Fairway Independent Mortgage for almost 10 years, and her most recent experience was at Movement Mortgage, where she served as Chief Growth Officer before leaving in January.

And she has a sense of humor, too. On her LinkedIn profile, she lists her current job as “Chief Fun Officer at Self Employed,” a position she’s held since January after she left Movement Mortgage.

Middleton joins Supreme Lending as the company seeks to expand. Eli Fairfield and Brian Keranen joined Everett Financial (dba Supreme Lending) as regional directors for its planned West Coast expansion.

“Supreme has always been a company that prides itself in keeping a low profile and just doing what’s right,” Everett’s statement continued. “We’ve been the best-kept secret in the mortgage space. With Sarah here, we’re about to tell that story a whole lot louder. As always, we will continue to do what’s right and in the best interest of all our employees, but it’s time we let the mortgage world know about Supreme.”
