Rocket Pro has hired Katie Sweeney, formerly CEO at the Broker Action Coalition (BAC), as its executive vice president of strategy and broker advocacy.

Rocket Pro confirmed the news in an email to HousingWire Wednesday. A spokesperson from the company wrote “Katie has dedicated her career to helping improve and grow the broker community through leadership positions at ARIVE, AIME and Broker Action Coalition (BAC). Now she is continuing that important work at Rocket Pro.”

Sweeney will remain as a board advisor to BAC. In her post announcing the transition, Sweeney wrote “I’m so proud of everything we’ve accomplished at the BAC in the past two and a half years, and I’m excited to continue supporting this amazing team in a new capacity. We’ve brought awareness, credibility, and action to a grassroots movement built for and by mortgage brokers — and there is so much more we will accomplish in 2025 and beyond.”

Sweeney previously led the Association of Independent Mortgage Experts (AIME) as its CEO until March 2024. She held former posts at ARIVE as its EVP, strategy and was the vice president of front-end solutions at Pacific Union Financial.
