REDC announces arts and culture business competition by NH Business Review for Contributed to NH Business Review

The Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) announces an Arts and Culture Business Competition, the third in the THRIVE Competition Series, a collection of business challenges that will provide money and momentum to help growing small businesses thrive in New Hampshire. To commemorate its 30th anniversary, REDC will award a total of $30,000 in grant prizes throughout the four competitions.

New Hampshire-based, for-profit businesses that focus on arts and cultural vibrancy in New Hampshire are invited to enter the Arts and Culture Business Competition for the chance to win a $7,500 grant to grow their business. This may include businesses working in the arts, crafts, dance, design, digital media, film/video, world arts, literature, music, performance, photography, theater, culinary arts/cuisine, and visual arts.

The application for this competition includes narrative questions, supporting documentation, and a business plan and is located at www.redc.com/thrive. Also included on that webpage are competition eligibility, FAQs, and resources for small businesses in New Hampshire. Anyone unable to submit electronically may request a physical application by calling 603-772-2655 to schedule an appointment.

The submission deadline is Wednesday, Dec, 11, 2024, 11:59 pm Eastern Time. This competition will be judged virtually by experts in various arts and culture fields. The winner will be announced in early January 2025.

A virtual Q&A webinar for businesses interested in learning more about the competition will be held on Monday, Nov. 18th at 11:30 am. Registration for this event is at www.redc.com/thrive. Questions regarding the competition may also be submitted to info@redc.com.
