If you are ready to jump into homeownership, call me. Seriously. I can help you get started.
In the meantime, let’s talk about what you can expect from the process, AFTER we get started and you are under contract on a property.
After we collect all your documents and send your loan in for approval you can expect to get a loan estimate and some disclosures to review and sign and I can answer any questions you may have about the down payment, closing costs, rate, payment, etc.
Step 2, completing your file. We will continue to prep your file to get it sent to the mortgage underwriter.
Step 3 is the appraisal, to assess the value of the home.
Step 4 is receiving the conditional underwriting approval and we may need to collect a few more items from you.
Step 5 is getting your loan back to underwriting for your final approval.
Step 6 is your closing disclosure. This is where your lender delivers a document to you that outlines all the terms and final costs of your mortgage.
Step 7 is when your lender prepares all your closing loan documents and sends them out for official signatures.
And that brings us to step 8. This is the final step, where the lender actually funds the mortgage, and you officially take ownership after it records.
And regardless of how complicated this all may seem, it’s my job to guide you every step of the way.
If you still have questions, I’ve got answers, let’s get you ready to buy a home!
