On April 3, NH Business Review held its annual Outstanding Women in Business Awards, which highlights eight business leaders in the state who personify leadership, advocacy and community commitment in their daily lives.
This year’s honorees included: Kelly Cohen, president and CEO, Cohen Closing & Title; Sarah Davis, vice president of marketing, Consolidated Communications; Jennifer Gilkie, chief communications and marketing officer, Dartmouth Health; Kate Luczko, senior director, HealthForce NH; Susan Martore-Baker, president, Cambridge Trust Wealth Management; Laurie Beth Pliakos, chief compliance officer and general council for Instride Health and adjunct professor of health law at UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law; Dominique Rust, vice president and chief operating officer, Catholic Charities; and Beth Slepian, president and CEO, Granite VNA.
Taking place at Southern New Hampshire University’s Dining Hall on its Hooksett campus, the award ceremony featured a sponsor message from Denis Sheahan, CEO of Eastern Bank, along with a special message from Lisa Marsh Ryerson, SNHU president.
Yankee Publishing NH Group’s Vice President and Publisher Ernesto Burden led the ceremony alongside NH Business Review Managing Editor Amanda Andrews, where each recipient shared their career journeys and provided advice for future business leaders.
A special video presentation was shown for each winner, produced by the team at Edify Multimedia Group, where colleagues expressed their gratitude for each of the night’s recipients, detailing their strong work ethics, commitment to their teams and communities, and the perseverance of being a female business leader in their respective industry.
