MISMO, the real estate finance industry’s standards organization, on Thursday announced its board of directors for 2025.

MISMO brings key problem solvers together to collaborate on critical issues in the mortgage industry,” said Bob Broeksmit, president and CEO of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), which oversees MISMO. “I welcome this talented group of industry executives to MISMO’s Board of Directors and am confident that they will provide valuable leadership to guide the organization into its next phase of growth and service to the industry.”

MISMO board members, who represent a cross-section of the residential and commercial real estate finance industries, are responsible for overseeing the organization and serve two-year terms.

“We are excited to welcome these exceptional executives to the MISMO Board of Directors,” said Richard Hill, acting president of MISMO. “With their leadership, MISMO is well-situated to continue driving innovation and collaboration across the mortgage finance industry.”

The board will be chaired by HousingWire 2024 Woman of Influence Sage Nichols, CoreLogic‘s senior vice president of collateral and risk solutions. Mike Hogan, a 2024 HousingWire Tech Trendsetter who serves as Pennymac‘s senior managing director and chief information officer, will be the vice chair.

“The diverse expertise and common passion to support MISMO in its role to enhance the way the mortgage finance industry operates are foundational to this group of professionals that make up the 2025 Board,” Nichols said. “I look forward to serving alongside each of them as we advance MISMO’s work to promote efficiency, cost-savings, and interoperability on behalf of the industry.”

New members of the board are Bryan Doyle, managing director capital markets at CBRE; Peter Grace, senior vice president of membership, education, technology and strategy for the MBA; Neenu Kainth, senior vice president and chief customer experience officer at Enact; Kevin Peranio, chief lending officer at PRMG; and HousingWire 2024 Woman of Influence Kiran Sahota, executive vice president of technology at Freedom Mortgage.
