Michael Saunders & Co. promotes Chip Murphy to EVP by Jonathan Delozier for HousingWire

Michael Saunders & Co. (MSC) has promoted Charles “Chip” Murphy to executive vice president, expanding his leadership role at the Florida-based real estate brokerage.

Murphy will now oversee all aspects of MSC’s residential brokerage and training program while continuing his leadership at the firm’s mortgage, title, insurance, relocation and business development wings.

“Chip has been an integral part of our company over the past two-and-a-half years,” MSC founder and chairman Michael Saunders said in a statement. “He has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and a deep commitment to our strategic growth and innovation.”

A native of upstate New York, Murphy has built a strong presence in the Sarasota, Florida, community. He serves on the Economic Development Corp. of Sarasota County’s board of directors and has held various nonprofit leadership roles.

Additional career experience includes a six-year tenure as a regional vice president and branch director for New York-based HUNT Real Estate, part of the ERA Real Estate network.
