Maverix Advisory Group, a consulting firm focused on proptech and real estate brokerage strategy, announced the formation of an advisory board and the appointment of York Baur as its founding member.
Baur, the former CEO of MoxiWorks, helped to scale that platform to a point that it now supports more than 800 brokerages and 400,000 agents across North America.

The newly established advisory board is set to play a key role in shaping Maverix’s strategic direction. The company is looking to expand its industry reach and mentor the next generation of proptech innovators.

The company plans to announce additional advisory board members in the coming months.
In February, Maverix Advisory Group added industry veteran Kevin Van Eck to its leadership roster, appointing him to the role of principal after a 16-year tenure at @properties.
