Looking for top tech by NH Business Review for Mike Cote

The NH Tech Alliance is once again celebrating tech products that have Granite State roots. Companies now have until Oct. 7 to submit an application.

To be eligible:

Companies must have either a headquarters, subsidiary or division based in New Hampshire.

Products must have been released or significantly updated within the last 12 months.

Products must meet the broad categorization of high tech and/or advanced manufacturing.

The application fee is waived for Tech Alliance members and is $350 for nonmembers.

“If a company has a significant New Hampshire connection, has had any upgrades and/or developed any new products in the last 12 months, they would be eligible to apply for POY,” says Lisa Bruinooge King, longtime chair of the program and a senior account executive for Cross Insurance.

Past POY winners of Product of the Year, now in its 18th year, include SpotOn Virtual Smart Fence by OnPoint Systems, Measured Air Performance, iCAD Inc., Wilcox Industries, Plexxi, Prosenex, Single Digits, Nanocomp Technologies, UltraVision, InsightTech Gear, Holase Incorporated, Sky-Skan, Foss Manufacturing and Therma-HEXX.

“This is an unprecedented opportunity not only for inventors to make important new connections, but to increase the visibility of their companies and products right before a prestigious group of NH entrepreneurs,” King said.

Applications are due by Oct. 7..

If selected as a semi-finalist, the company will be required to show off their product to the judging panel on Oct. 18.

The event will be live-streamed on Dec. 11. In conjunction with the live-streamed event, there will also be an in-person watch party with networking during and after the presentations. Between the last few events, the program received close to 10,000 online views, the alliance said.
