The Georgia-based Tim Stout Group is making the move to eXp Realty, according to an announcement on Wednesday.

The team, which is named after its leader and founder Tim Stout, was previously brokered at True North Real Estate Advisors. He founded the team while at RE/MAX before moving to Keller Williams and then Compass.

Stout and his 16 agents, all of whom are making the move to eXp, closed 208 units for over $70 million in volume in 2024, according to the release. Additionally, Stout’s team ranked at No. 346 in the country in the 2024 RealTrends Verified Rankings after closing 199 transaction sides in 2023. The team ranked at No. 413 by volume nationwide in 2023, recording $70.6 million in sales volume.

The team serves clients in Georgia and Tennessee

“Tim Stout represents the kind of disciplined, high-performance leadership that thrives at eXp Realty,” Leo Pareja, the CEO of eXp Realty, said in a statement. “His relentless drive and focus on team growth align perfectly with our mission.

Stout, a former mixed martial arts champion, embarked on his real estate career in 2012. He credits Brandon Brittingham for prompting his move to eXp.

“At first, I wasn’t considering a move, but the more I learned, the more it made sense,” Stout said in a statement. “Brandon has built an incredible investing business, and proximity to leaders like him is the fastest way for me to grow. eXp’s model provides unmatched support, cutting-edge technology, and a collaborative environment that allows my team to scale while maintaining exceptional service.”

In addition to his work in real estate, South is the co-founder of Apex Predator Training, where he provides self-defense education classes and offers free training sessions for local law enforcement.

Stout’s move to eXp marks the sixth multimillion dollar team to join the firm in 2025.
