Evergreen Home Loans on Friday announced the appointment of Walter Gallipeau as its new area manager, marking the company’s expansion into Texas.

Gallipeau confirmed the new role in a LinkedIn post on Thursday.

Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Gallipeau brings more than 20 years of finance and business experience to Washington state-based Evergreen. For the past eight years, he served as senior vice president at Texas Bank and Trust, leading the DFW region.

“I’m thrilled to join a company with such a strong foundation and people-first culture,” Gallipeau said. “I look forward to building high-performing teams and helping more families achieve the dream of homeownership.”

In his new role, Gallipeau will focus on alleviating operational pressures on executives by managing sales development, launching key branch initiatives, and bolstering talent recruitment and retention.

“Walter brings the perfect combination of leadership, production experience, and cultural alignment,” Brett Evertz, the company’s assistant vice president of loan production and sales operations, said in a statement.

“His ability to lead with integrity and develop strong local teams is exactly what we need to accelerate growth in key markets — especially as we expand into Texas.”

Evergreen’s expansion into the Lone Star State marks another step in the company’s efforts to grow its footprint across the country. At the start of 2025, Evergreen expanded to five Southeast states: FloridaGeorgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

In March 2025, the company opened two branches in New Mexico.
