Move over, Hunter S. Thompson, and make way for Cyberbacker CEO Craig Goodliffe.

According to a Fox News affiliate in Salt Lake City, Goodliffe was arrested in Ogden, Utah, last week for allegedly giving his 8-year-old son marijuana candy. This led to charges of child endangerment, purchase of a firearm by a restricted person and intoxication. But that doesn’t scratch the surface of how crazy the scene was at Goodliffe’s house.

His arrest came in response to a welfare check request from his mother, who was concerned her son was having a manic episode. She had good reason to think so.

Officers reportedly found Goodliffe in a state of hysteria, as he was talking about doing magic rituals. He told police he’d taken a large amount of marijuana, Viagra and caffeine.

In the process, he admitted to giving his son a weed gummy, which he hoped would put him to sleep while he watched pornography. Officers said the child was less than coherent, and he tested positive for THC during a subsequent hospital visit.

The house contained 9 pounds of various marijuana products that were unmarked and easily accessible to children. Near the contraband, officers found urine and feces on the floor, and Goodliffe told them he had indeed defecated on the floor.

In the days after his arrest, Goodliffe posted to LinkedIn a picture with the following text: “There is a past version of you that is so proud of how far you have come.” At the top of his page, he lists “Cool Dad!” as one of his titles.

Cyberbacker provides real estate professionals with “administrative support and virtual assistant services” that can range from help with building an online presence, fine-tuning digital marketing strategies, and gathering and processing data.

The Utah-based company was born out of the Keller Williams affiliate The Good Life Group, which Goodliffe founded in 2004. According to his LinkedIn profile, he’s involved with KW MAPS Coaching and is a member of the Forbes Business Council.
