California Regional MLS (CRMLS) has partnered with proptech company RealReports to provide artificial intelligence (AI)-powered property reports to its users.
The service, described as a “Carfax for homes,” will be available on an opt-in basis for CRMLS’s participating associations through the CRMLS Association Product Co-Op.
RealReports compiles data from more than 60 industry sources, offering agents detailed property reports that include permit history, climate risk, flood insurance costs, liens, zoning details, and other critical information.
The platform features an AI assistant, Aiden, designed to answer property-related questions, analyze documents and generate insights for agents and clients.
Seven CRMLS associations, including Orange County Realtors, Southland Regional Association of Realtors, and North San Diego County Realtors, have already adopted the tool, with more expected to follow.
“Helping agents showcase their value is a major focus for CRMLS this year, and RealReports is an incredible asset for our users,” said CRMLS CEO Art Carter. “We’re always looking for ways to leverage new technologies to help our user base thrive, and I’ve been particularly impressed with the extensive AI-powered reports I’ve seen.”
James Rogers, co-founder and CEO of RealReports, called the CRMLS partnership a “tremendous milestone” for the company.
“Our team has taken great care to build a product that solves real problems and provides consistent value for agents and their clients,” Rogers said.
Zach Gorman, co-founder and CEO of RealReports, emphasized the role of AI in simplifying data analysis for agents.
“Data is only helpful if you know what to do with it, which is why we built our AI property advisor, Aiden, to answer any question about a property, analyze documents, and provide insights,” Gorman said.
