More than 2.5 million home sellers have submitted claims related to commission lawsuit settlement agreements — including those reached in the Sitzer/Burnett, Moehrl and Gibson suits.

This is according to a declaration filed Monday by Jennifer M. Keough, the CEO, president and co-founder of JND Legal Administration.

JND is the law firm that’s overseeing administrative tasks related to many of the commission lawsuit settlement agreements.

Claims have been submitted via both paper and an online digital claim form created by JND.

“As of June 2025, JND has sent over 100 million emails and 38 million postcards as a part of the Realtors Settlements noticing campaigns,” the declaration states.

These communications include four rounds of initial notices, two rounds of reminder notices and four media publication campaigns.

In addition to these campaigns, JND has also set up a call center, which has received more than 25,000 calls and 30,000 emails.

For this work, between January 2024 and May 2025, JND has invoiced more than $32.7 million to the settlement fund. While the vast majority has been paid, about $5.9 million remains unpaid.
