Christina Pappas has been appointed as president of Illustrated Properties, marking a new chapter for the South Florida luxury real estate brokerage as it celebrates its 50th year of operations.
Pappas steps into the role following the departure of former president Daniel Dennis, who held the position for three years before leaving to pursue a new opportunity.
She will also continue in her current role as president of The Keyes Co., a sister company of Illustrated Properties. Together, the two firms operate under The Keyes Family of Companies, which bills itself as Florida’s largest independent real estate enterprise.
“I take the responsibility of being a steward for the vision of Illustrated’s founders very seriously,” Pappas said in a statement. “Real estate is, above all, a people business — and Illustrated has spent five decades prioritizing relationships and community. That commitment will continue to guide us as we focus on innovation, service, and giving our Associates and customers every advantage to thrive.”

Illustrated and Keyes have operated as affiliated brands since 2016, sharing services, technology platforms and marketing resources.
Under Pappas’ leadership, both brokerages will reportedly maintain individual identities while continuing to strengthen ties through shared programs and partnerships. This includes affiliations with Forbes Global Properties, Luxury Portfolio International and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.
Pappas, who joined The Keyes Co. in 2011, has been credited with leading significant initiatives in marketing, agent development and digital transformation.
She has held prominent leadership roles within the real estate industry, including her upcoming term as a 2025 regional vice president for the National Association of Realtors, where she will represent Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
In 2022, Pappas made history as the youngest person ever elected as president of Florida Realtors. During her tenure, she played a key role in classifying real estate as an essential service during the COVID-19 pandemic and in lobbying for affordable housing initiatives across the state.
A graduate of Cornell University, Pappas is also involved in philanthropic efforts. She is a longtime supporter of the Dolphins Cancer Challenge, which raises funds for cancer research, and she serves on the executive board of United Way Miami.
Illustrated Properties operates with more than 600 agents across 20 offices throughout South Florida.
