A boutique real estate brokerage based in Kern County, California, has joined the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Platinum Realty Group — led by broker/owner Christy Rabe — will now operate under the nationally recognized brand as part of a strategic effort to expand services and attract agents.

Rabe, who founded Platinum Realty Group in 2018, has worked in real estate for two decades and built a career in the mountain community of Bear Valley Springs, California. She said the affiliation will help her agents access professional development resources and expand their reach in the local market.

“We firmly believe that collaboration and the right support make the dream work, and we know that the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand will provide us with that excellent support,” Rabe said in a statement.

“We’re fortunate enough to serve a very close-knit community where local values dictate all, and the brand perfectly understands that. We’re confident that this affiliation will not only enhance our service capabilities, but also our professionalism, our reputation, and our ability to provide better learning and development opportunities to our affiliated agents.”

After moving to Bear Valley Springs in 2001, Rabe quickly became a top producer and later rose to the position of associate broker before launching her own firm. She is known for maintaining an active sales presence while also managing her company’s day-to-day operations.

The firm works with residential, commercial and land transactions including ranch properties and vacation homes. In recent years, it has built a reputation as a women-led brokerage with a focus on personalized service.

Ginger Wilcox, the president of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, said the addition of Rabe’s firm supports the brand’s broader strategy of working with locally embedded brokerages.

“At Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, we know that the strength of our brand lies in the dedication and local expertise of our affiliated brokerages,” Wilcox said. “Christy and her exceptional affiliated agents embody the values we hold dear: commitment to community, personalized service, and an unwavering drive to help clients achieve their dreams.

“Their ability to build meaningful relationships and deliver standout results in a growing market is a testament to their passion and professionalism.”

The firm plans to utilize the brand’s suite of technology and learning platforms — including tools from MoxiWorks and the Be Better University program — to increase agent productivity and client service.
