Advocus National Title starts virtual closing platform in Chicago by Jonathan Delozier for HousingWire

Advocus National Title Insurance Co. has introduced GO Live, a virtual closing system designed to streamline real estate transactions for attorneys and their clients.

The platform, which debuts in Chicago, will expand to additional markets in the coming months.

GO Live allows attorneys to guide homebuyers through closing documents in real time, reducing errors and improving communication.

The system eliminates the need for buyers to use personal devices by providing integrated technology. Closers also participate in the virtual process, facilitating collaboration and quick resolutions of issues, the company explained.

“Advocus is committed to redefining the title insurance experience,” said Peter Birnbaum, executive chairman of Advocus. “With GO Live, we’re offering attorneys and buyers a stress-free, connected, and transparent process. This platform is designed to enhance the professionalism of real estate closings and give our clients the confidence they deserve during such a significant life event.”

Attorneys can now review and guide buyers through their closing documents in real time. Through streaming video, GO Live enables attorneys to see the documents buyers are signing. This will help to reduce errors like signing on the wrong line or overlooking critical details.

Last week, Advocus announced the launch of its 1031 exchange service platform.
