$4.4M Dover home tops Strafford County sales as realtor sees ‘market correction’ by NH Business Review for Sarah Donovan/Foster’s Daily Democrat

A $4.4 million home overlooking the Cocheco River at 75 Saddle Trail Drive in Dover was the highest-priced sale in Strafford County in October.

Built in 2021, the real estate listing for the property states the 5,370 square-foot single-family home on 3.4 acres offers four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a luxury kitchen complete with marble countertops, a great room and dining room with customized designs by Mari Woods. There’s also a 1,115 square-foot patio, a large yard and woods surrounding the property.

The home has two executive offices, a garden room that serves as a media room with automated blinds, a custom spiral staircase that leads to four bedrooms on the second level, a primary bedroom with a California Closet, a bathroom with a stone-soaking tub, heated floors, a digitally controlled shower and a private balcony off the primary bedroom.

The median sales price for a home in Strafford County was $441,000 for October, a 2% increase year over year, according to the New Hampshire Association of Realtors.

Realtors saw a “market correction”‘ in the month of October, meaning real estate prices that have skyrocketed in recent years are starting to come down, said Jason Westcott, president of the Strafford County Board of Realtors.
